FAQ
Many people ask many questions regarding the display. So I thought that I would address all those questions here. (If you have any questions you do NOT see listed here. Send a message and it will be addressed back to you in that message and will be posted here.)
- Why do I do it? Simple because I want to. I love hearing the compliments how nice it looks. Love seeing the neighbors faces when its all complete and lite up.
- How long does it take? It takes me about 2 to 3 weeks depending how fast I work and how much I get accomplished in a day. Weather pending days.
- How long does planning take? Planning is something that goes on year round. The planning usually starts right after Christmas at the after Christmas sales. And just progresses through out the year as I buy stuff online planning were things will go that year. Testing lights.
- Does it cost a fortune? No not really. Maybe an extra 50 bucks to the light bill but who cares as long as it's nice and to my perfection and everyone enjoys it then all that matters. Right?
- Do you accept donations? Yes and no. I'm not asking for it at all because it comes out of my pocket for the public to enjoy. If you would like to donate that's fine but I'm not asking and I'm not telling you that you have to.
- How many lights do you have? I honestly want to say about 10,000 plus.
- Have you had vandalism? Yes i have 2 years in a row.
- Is the display a walk through? No it is not. Now if you want a behind the scenes tour of all the electric work email me by clicking here and let me know. But please don't show up with out letting me know as I don't need the dogs getting you or you tripping and getting electrocuted.
- Do you decorate any other places? Oh yes I do. I will help anybody.
- Do you sell or trade? Nope sure don't. I am looking to buy things but not selling or trading.
- Do you decorate for other holidays? Yes I sure do. Easter, Halloween, and Christmas are the only ones so far.
